Meet Pastor Tesfaye...

Tesfaye was searching for a way to help his nation of Ethiopia to become more effective and intentional in making disciples to finish the Great Commission. That is when he found T-Net International through our website, The timing was right, as Campus Crusade for Christ had invited T-Net to start a “Super-Center” in Kisumu, Kenya where key pastors from four east African countries would be brought together to launch T-Net training in the region. Tesfaye was thrilled to be one of four Ethiopians invited to attend.

There were many who began the training but dropped out, however, Tesfaye is one of 20 East African pastors who have continued to travel to Kisumu three times each year for the week of intensive training. These 20 have implemented T-Net in their own churches and have begun training 335 other pastors in 2nd generation centers in their own countries. Consider what these 20 pastors have accomplished in just two years:

  • 958 new conversions (25 per church per year)
  • 28% numerical growth, on average
  • 97% increase in weekly giving, on average
  • 17 new churches planted
  • 74 church planting apprentices in trainingSequential small groups started in each church, & more.

Tesfaye has become the T-Net country leader for Ethiopia and has mobilized 169 pastors who are attending four 2nd Generation T-Net Training Centers in Ethiopia.

There are over 2500 pastors in dozens of T-Net Training Centers throughout the world. Thank you for your financial support that allows me to coach and train Tesfaye and leaders like him.
